Can anyone explain how accounts are selected for closure? Within the last 24
hours more than 3,546 individuals wrote to MS via Windows Live online service
seeking an answer to this question... this number only represents the
individuals capable of finding this page so I'd venture the number is much
higher.

All say the same thing: I've not violated any terms of service or policies.

In the majority of cases, a tech has asked Hotmail account users to write to
the "Abuse Team" but, of course, this produces no solution or results either.

Files are blocked. Email contacts are blocked. Old posts are blocked.

How can MS possibly believe this is an appropriate way to do business?

Please understand that the "Microsoft Discussions" forums are merely a
front-end to the Usenet NNTP forums, which are not owned nor moderated
by Microsoft. Connect directly to the NNTP newsgroups to see complete
content.

Send your questions and problems directly to Microsoft using whatever
method they provide on their website. Posting a comment within the
forums does nothing but clutter the content and comments won't get read
by anyone other than fellow users who can't help you.

This is unbelievable. I am having the same problem and I can figure out what
to do. I wrote the 'abuse team' but there is no luck as well.
It appears that if anyone who doesn't like you report your email address.
Microsoft will close the account without question. I have been waiting for 5
days now without success.
Please I need my email back!!!
